The synopsis is about two couples that find together despite being opposites. Tutor is said to be 'wise' beyond his age and acts rationally, while Fighter is the emotional kind. They started having some animosity with each other but developed a close relationship right after. Saifah is a popular musician and is often engaged in mischief while Zon is shy yet stubborn. He is also a sci-fi write.

The series stars the newcomers Saint Suppapong Udomkaewkanjana as Tutor, Zee Pruk Panich as Fighter, Tommy Sittichok Pueakpoolpol as Zon, and Jimmy Karn Kritsanaphan as Safiah.

From our point of view especially the the couples Tutor and P’Fi are utterly adorable. And we Brightoneers love them so much.

Sometimes, especially in these testing days, you just need to embrace the messiness for some good television. Here’s why Why R U? is the perfect drama to check out right now.

Das Jahr 2020 ist wirklich etwas Besonderes. Viele Menschen stellen sich selbst unter Quarantäne und leben „Social distancing“. Das Internet und die Online-Streaming-Dienste boomen. Für Fans des asiatischen Dramas ist wohl jetzt der perfekte Zeitpunkt, um neue Serien auszuprobieren.

Neben unsere Liebe für indisches Kino und -K-Dramas haben wir auch einen Geheimtipp aus Thailand im Programm.

WHY R U?

Das Drama handelt von zwei Paaren, die trotz grosser Gegensätze zusammenfinden.

Tutor soll für sein Alter sehr „weise“, gar erwachsen sein und rational handeln, während P‘Fi eher infantil, emotional und empathisch ist. Anfangs stehen sich sich Feindseligkeit gegenüber, entwickelten aber step by step eine enge Beziehung.

Saifah ist ein beliebter Musiker und ist oft in Unfug verwickelt, während Zon schüchtern und doch stur ist. Er ist auch ein Science-Fiction-Autor.

Die Serie basiert auf der Chemie der Newcomer Saint Suppapong Udomkaewkanjana als Tutor,

Aus unserer Sicht ist besonders das Paar Tutor und P'Fi absolut bezaubernd.
