In 1929 Anne Marie Schönmehl was
born in the picturesque little wine-village Westhofen near Worms. Due to World War II her education in home economics was interrupted. Marie got married in 1952 and became a mother of a daughter.
Later on in life she devoted herself to gardening and especially the breeding and care of her flower garden. Furthermore she is a passionate flower painter and enjoys reading a good book. Hemingway
and Miller are her favorites.
"The glow of silence" is her first published work, however, ever since her childhood Annemarie writes down thoughts and ideas.
