Kai-Kevin Dietrich was born in 1978 in
Dorsten as second child of a family of six. He completed his secondary
education at the Adam Kraft Grammar School in Schwabach, where he
discovered his passion for writing. In 2004 he was first published with
his poem "Ruhe in Frieden". The first short story
followed a year later in the anthology "Neverendingland".
In the same year he won the Audience Award in Literature Mellrichstadt competition with his short crime thriller "Die Sherman Villa". There were other publications as well in the fields of poetry as in the field of short stories. "Mikesch" is the first novel.
