I was born in 1962 in Osnabrück. Until today my husband Antony and I still live in that region.
When I was a little child I loved it when my great-aunt or my older sister read out to me. In this case (and only then!) I could sit for hours very quiet listening spellbound. During my school years
I was thrilled every time we were supposed to write an essay. I was able to give free rein to my imagination (however, the enthusiasm of my former teachers often seemed to be limited). When I was
about eight years old I began to read anything I got my hands on. But I quickly realized that typical "girl's books" didn't quite catch my attention. My favorites were adventure stories of all kinds
and the books by Enid Blyton such as "River of Adventure", "Castle of Adventure" etc. Later on my interest was aimed at "myths and legends" of different countries and my love for Greece aroused. In
the north of the Peloponnese my husband and I own a home, where I got many ideas regarding stories for children and additionally wrote a book about the wonderful country Greece.
